“This was one of those rare science fiction novels that wasn't afraid to be ambitious. It blends first contact, time travel, conspiracy and philosophical questions into a story that kept you wondering what was coming next. Instead of relying on the normal alien storyline, it went a different way with way they might be obsessed with human emotion. It tied it to a larger conflict over time itself. It felt fresh and unpredictable.”

“It hooked me from the first paragraph. Truly. I love the writing style, the way it just drags me into the story. And if there's something that doesn't particularly make sense right away, that's okay because it explains it pretty quickly. I didn't feel it was smutty for the sake of being smutty. It was purposeful and the storyline was driven forward. All in all, a great short read, and I'll likely reread it again.”

“This book is an absolutely wild ride! These aren't aliens in a traditional sense at all! This was a very interesting take on aliens that provided a refreshing perspective on LGBT culture in a way that was not flashy and over the top, but simply they just were. Aliens in space feeding off of human ecstasy is a wild take, and its gay!”

“This book is one of those bold science fiction stories that completely commits to its strange and fascinating ideas. Set beneath the surface of the Moon in a hidden base under Crater Clavius, the novel combines time travel, extraterrestrial conspiracies, political intrigue, and psychological exploration into a uniquely layered narrative. The concept alone is enough to hook sci-fi fans, but the story goes even deeper by exploring human identity, altered timelines, and the fragile balance holding civilization together. What makes this book stand out is its fearless imagination. It blends cosmic mystery with philosophical questions and futuristic conflict, creating a reading experience that feels unpredictable in the best possible way.”

“I loved the two main characters and I wanted to see even more from them. But I do think they had a good understanding of one another. I was surprised at how easy the book was to follow despite all of the back and forth and time changes. ... It was very… interesting and definitely kept me on my toes, so to speak.”

“This book felt like stepping into a strange, dreamlike world that I couldn't stop thinking about. Madeira Desouza creates a haunting mix of sci-fi, mystery, and psychological depth, all set against the eerie backdrop of the moon. What really grabbed me was how boldly the story explored identity, desire, and the hidden forces shaping human behavior.”

“Ok Besties... somehow another sci-fi book found its way into my hands and this one had me sitting there like, wait... excuse me?! 'Clavius Deep: Time Travel's Secret' takes time travel, secret lunar bases, aliens, politics, and then tosses in a concept so wildly unexpected that I had to pause and process for a second. This was definitely an interesting ride. The story leans into big ideas and isn't afraid to get weird in that classic sci-fi way. Between timeline repairs, lunar drama, and layers of intrigue and betrayal, there was always something happening.”

“Dark, trippy, and brilliantly weird. Madeira Desouza blends lunar sci-fi with bold explorations of male identity and celestial parasitism. Beneath Crater Clavius, agents race to protect time, only to discover invisible entities draining human pleasure.”
