The premise

Instead of relying on the normal alien storyline, it went a different way with way they might be obsessed with human emotion. It tied it to a larger conflict over time itself. It felt fresh and unpredictable.”

And if there's something that doesn't particularly make sense right away, that's okay because it explains it pretty quickly. I didn't feel it was smutty for the sake of being smutty. It was purposeful and the storyline was driven forward. All in all, a great short read, and I'll likely reread it again.”
