claviusdeep.com is operated by the author Madeira Desouza to promote the novel Clavius Deep. It is a personal author website, not a company.
What is collected
Only what you type into a form. The newsletter form collects your email address and, optionally, a name. The contact form collects your name, email address, subject line and message. Nothing else is requested and no account is created.
Why it is collected
Newsletter addresses are used to send occasional announcements about the Clavius trilogy. Contact submissions are used solely to read and reply to your message.
Where it is stored
Submissions are stored in the database that backs this website. They are not published, not sold, and not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Purchases
This site sells nothing. All book purchases happen on Amazon, under Amazon’s own privacy policy and terms. No payment information ever reaches this site.
Your rights
You can ask at any time for a copy of what has been stored about you, for corrections, or for full deletion. Use the contact page and the request will be honoured.
Retention
Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or request removal. Contact messages are kept only as long as the correspondence remains relevant.
